Cropping keeps the part of a photo you want and removes unwanted margins or background. With aspect-ratio presets (1:1, 16:9, 9:16), use-case presets for Instagram and YouTube, a circle-crop mode, and exact pixel sizing, you can fit profile pictures, thumbnails, and social images in one place. It runs in your browser with no uploads, and your original is kept intact.

Aspect-ratio and use-case presets

Lock the crop to a ratio like square (1:1), 16:9, or 9:16 with one click. Use-case presets are ready too — Instagram feed (1:1, 4:5), Stories/Reels (9:16), YouTube thumbnail (16:9), and passport photos — so your image isn't awkwardly re-cropped after you upload. Once a ratio is locked, dragging a corner keeps that ratio.

Circle crop (round profile pictures)

Choose 'Circle' to crop the image into a circle and save it as a transparent PNG. Perfect for profile pictures, avatars, and round logos — no separate editor needed.

Crop to an exact pixel size

Type an exact width and height in pixels to crop to that precise size — handy when you need something like 1080×1080 or 1920×1080. Rough it in by dragging, then fine-tune with the numbers.

Compress after you crop

Cropping already reduces the file, but for the web run it through the image compressor for faster loading. Your original stays untouched — only the cropped result is downloaded. See the circle crop guide, the social image size guide, and the crop image guide for more.
