Cómo crear un favicon

  1. Arrastra o selecciona una imagen para convertir en favicons.
  2. Elige los tamaños que necesitas (de 16×16 a 512×512).
  3. Descarga PNGs individuales o guárdalos como archivo ICO.

The favicon generator turns a single image into the icon shown on browser tabs and bookmarks. Upload a logo or picture and it creates every size you need, from 16×16 to 512×512, and can also save a broadly compatible ICO file.

Which sizes do you need?

Browser tabs and bookmarks use 16×16 and 32×32, while high-resolution screens and mobile home screens use 180×180, 192×192, and 512×512. Pick the sizes you want and download them all at once instead of making each one separately.

Tips for a good favicon

Because a favicon appears very small, a simple symbol reads better than a detailed image. Use a square image, and prefer a PNG original if you need a transparent background. If your source isn't square, square it up first with the crop tool.
